Sophie Tyska Hadduk 92 of West Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 3, 2009. She is the wife of the late John Hadduk. Sophie was born in New Haven April 12, 1916 a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Obejenski Tyska. She had worked in sales for many years first at Shartenberg Dept. Store and later at the Edward Malley Co. She leaves her daughters Florence DeNice and Helen Kemper both of CA and Catherine Prete and her husband Frank of West Haven. She is the sister of Helen Bassoli, Stanley and Frank Tyska and the late Alice Morganti, Mary Holt, Harry and Teddy Tyska. Grandmother of Cheryl and Jeffrey Prete, Debbie DeNice and Jimmie Kemper. Great Grandmother of Heather Affinito.
Her funeral will leave the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME 821 State Street FRIDAY morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Church at 10a.m. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Family and friends may call on FRIDAY from 8:30 until 9:30 prior to services.
