Mary Ann Lubowicki Johnson 86 of 37 Addison Road, Hamden passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital on Wednesday May 27, 2009. She is the wife of Bramwell D. Johnson. Mary was born in New Haven June 30, 1922 a daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Leokadia Grzybowski Lubowicki. She was employed by Sears Roebuck Co. as a sales clerk until her retirement. Prior to Sears she had worked in the Business Office of A.C.Gilbert Co. Besides her husband she leaves her daughters Barbara A. Johnson of New Haven and Patricia M. Johnson of Hamden. She is the sister of Casimir Lubowicki of Hamden and the late Rosalie, Walter and Frank Lubowicki. Mary is also survived by three nieces and two nephews. Mary was

and wonderful home maker and a great cook. She loved to dance and was an avid reader.
She also enjoyed watching the UCONN Girls Basketball.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Stephen Church, Ridge Road Hamden TUESDAY morning at 11 a.m. Burial of Ashes will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 821 State Street on TUESDAY morning from 8:30 until 10:30 prior to services.
