Michael D. Keane, 61 of New Haven, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 24, 2009. Michael was born in Schenectedy, NY on April 24, 1948, a son of Robert B. and Rose Waldron Keane of Florida. Michael was a retired independent Marketing Consultant. Besides his parents he leaves his son: Damien Keane of Buffalo, NY, and his life partner Patricia Lipowski-Nuelson of New Haven. He is the brother of Karen Keane of New Haven, Joan Fraser and her husband Alex of Carmel, Indiana, Kevin Keane and his wife Jill of New Hartford, and Rosemary Keane of New York City. Uncle of Allison Keane and Julia Keane Seidman. He is also survived by his former wife Donna Bowles.

Funeral services will take place in the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME 821 State Street MONDAY morning at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New Haven Leon Sister City Project, 608 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511 or to the Amistad Catholic Worker House, 203 Rosette St. New Haven, CT 06519.
