Rosenplanter, Martin ( Marty )

Martin "Marty" Rosenplanter died Wednesday September 9, 2009 at CT Hospice in Branford, CT at the age of 52 after a long battle with cancer. Born November 25, 1956, he was a life long resident of New Haven. Marty is predeceased by his father William F. Rosenplanter, survived by his mother, Theresa Gallagher Rosenplanter, brother William ( Amy ) Rosenplanter, sisters Patricia ( Ed ) Breuler, Theresa Rosenplanter McNamee, Maureen ( Bill ) Pietraszuk and by the loves of his life his daughters Alison ( Michael ) Charbonneau and Diana Rosenplanter, his 1st Grand-child, Leah Grace Charbonneau, his precious cat "Baby", and his soul-mate Debbie, whose love helped to keep him going
much longer than ever expected. Martin was an employee of Yale University for over 32 years. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan and New York Yankee fan. He loved music, sports, Modern Apizza and a cold beer on his front porch. He was a wonderful son, brother, father, grand-father and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. The world has lost a great guy.

Family and friends may call at the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME 821 State Street on FRIDAY from 4 until 8 p.m. and are invited to go directly to St. Joseph's Church 129 Edward St., New Haven, CT SATURDAY morning at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial.
