Skowronek, Ladislaus ( Walter )

Ladislaus (Walter) Skowronek 89 formerly of Hamden passed away peacefully on Sunday March 29, 2009 at the Alzheimer's Resource Center in Plantsville. Walter was born in New Haven February 29, 1920 the son of the late Sebastian and Anna Cwikla Skowronek. A lifelong parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church he served as an altar boy in his younger years and was currently a member of their Holy Name Society. A World War II veteran he served with the Army. Walter was a retired consultant and had been employed by the Johnson Goodyer Co. for several years. He had a real "green thumb "and always had an outstanding garden at his home. He was also active at the Pardee Rose Garden. Predeceased by his sister Stephanie
Skowronek. Walter is survived by many loving cousins.

His funeral will leave the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME 821 State Street WEDNESDAY morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Church at 10 a.m. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call on WEDNESDAY morning from 8:15 until 9:15 prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center, 1261 South Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479
